My Favourite Character

Hi! My name is Tan Huixin Michelle. I am from Northland Primary School,(which is in Yishun) class 5B. I am going to tell you about my favourite character.

My favourite character is called Cornelia. If you had read my second blog title, you will know about the W.I.T.C.H book. Cornelia is a very loyal, pretty, pitiful and intelligent girl. She likes ice-skating very much. I can tell you the reason but do not get a heartattack! The reason is because she once shunned the soccer team, who always teased her as a useless girl, by winning a gold trophy for ice-skating.

She is very loyal because of her respect to the school. She is never rude to anyone unless someone provoked her unecesseryly. She is always pretty because of the way she dress herself. She always know what clothes matches. However, I felt sad for her. She loved a boy named Caleb, who was in another world. When she fially get to meet him, the evil prince turned Caleb into a flower which was now in Cornelia's room.

At first, I thought that another character, called Will, was the the most pitiful one of all as she always quarrel with her mother because of some misunderstanding. Most of the reason are because of her mother dating with her science teacher. Will do not like the idea of her mother and teacher together.Thus, she always quarrel with her mother.

My Favourite Book

Hi! My name is Tan Huixin Michelle. I am from Northland Primary School, (which is in Yishun) class 5B. I am going to tell you about my favourite book.

My favourite book is very famous among the girls and it is called the W.I.T.C.H. I still remember the first time I read this book. It went like this... I saw my friend reading a W.I.T.C.H-The Salamander's Heart book when I was in Primary Four. At that time, I was curious to know why most of the girls in my school read W.I.T.C.H. Thus, I asked my friend to lend me her book she was reading.

When I was just briefly reading, I realised that I was hooked on it. It was so exciting and interesting that when I got home, I immediately beg my eldest sister to bring me to Northpoint's Popular bookshop to buy a W.I.T.C.H storybook for me.

My feelings to this book is that I think that the author and the person drawing these books are quite imaginative as these books are about a few girls controling the four elements such as water, air, fire and earth. This is also the reason why I like this book. I love books that are about magic or power. I also think that these books are very suitable to me as it is teenage fiction. The word "Fiction" is my favourite word. Whenever I saw that one of the shelves in the library that have my favourite word, I were immediately run towards it and grab one of the books to read. Reading is also a relax to me and it can also improve my grammer and vocabulary. However, there are only series one to eighteen. I wish that there were be more series waiting for me to read...

My CCA

Hi! My name is Tan Huixin Michelle. I am from Northland Primary School, class 5B. I have only one CCA and it is Netball. Netball ONLY allows girls to participate.My Netball teacher is Miss Koh. Although she is kind of fierce, she is still pretty nice to us. Its the same as Basketball but, you can't move when you are holding the ball. There are four passes in all. The basic pass is the Chest Pass. When you are holding the ball, you must put it on your chest and aim the ball at your ally's chest. The second pass is the Shoulder Pass. It is similiar to Chest Pass but you have to put the ball on your shoulder and aim for your ally's shoulder. The third pass is called the Bounce Pass. I like this pass the best of all the passes as you must imagine that there are three lines in between you and your ally/oppenent and throw it to make sure it hits the second imaginative line and bounce back to your ally. The last pass is called the Lop Pass. you must throw the ball as high as possible and the furtest you can. However, make sure that your ally is able to catch it! Sometimes, during the game/tournament, you basicly need to use the Lop pass as you must not let your oppenent get the adventage. Especialy when your oppenent is taller than you! Well, thats all I'm going to say! Wish that you will not snooze while you are reading half-way! Hehe..
